Hi you two! Ed and Paula are coming to visit early Sept and see Ottawa, play golf and whatever. Your names styill come up first on tanga/tanga - quite amazing after this time has elapsed. We hope you have both your feet planted firmly on ground now and are getting on with life. It has turned from a wet early summer to a glorious July now and we are enjoying our place and grandchildren. Keep in touch when you can. Best wishes Alan & Pat

Hi, Tim & Linda!
I just viewed the Ireland slideshow, and the picture taken of off the fairway #6 was really amazing! (Was it the 57th picture in the slideshow? I don't know...) Anyhow, that cruise must've been really wild from all the pictures in the slideshow!

Those photos are great, the flowering tree outside Blarney Castle was flowering just like that when I was there. I'd recognise it anywhere!!!!
By far the most outstanding and incredible photos are those of your grandchildren. I could just squeeze them, they'd think I was nuts but they are just adorable. You certainly captured the spirit of Gillian and Linley
How lucky could one set of grandparents be.... oh yeah, triple lucky when this newest one comes along.
Thanks for these.

What!!!!!!!!!!! No grey!!!!!!!!!!??????? Who do those fashionista's think they are?? or aren't??? Getting nicer around here, bit cool in the mornings. Had a dive trip to Prince Rupert and got in the water 5 times. Last one was like Mexico....... without the heat, fish, turtles, Tequila, nude beach, Corona, sun, sand, shorty wetsuit, wife, gall bladder attack....... you know the routine. I had one golf game so far, in Coeur D'alene...... parred #14... the floating green!!! Got the certificate and everything. Hope to get out this weekend??? Glad you have fond memories of Rome. I've heard some goofy stories. Keep posting when you can. See you soon??? Ciao.......

Wow, these are incredible as ever.
I was in Rome so these shots were a walk down memory lane. Did you feel the energy at the Col', and walking on those stones where millions have walked before you, imagine in the early days when they were first laid !! Did you get swarmed with peddlers ( maybe not the right term?) leaving there? and see the guys dressed as gladiators, charging for photos? Sorrento is on my list, your shots could all win in my books.
Cheese will never be the same again, I am sure :)
Can hardly wait for your return.

Amazing, it's all so old!!!!!!!! And speaking of that, you definatley look the youngest on board, must be a good feeling :) I can imagine the prints you will have enlarged to put on your walls, which ones to choose??
I am in the midst of planning my Level 1 and Level 2 courses, teleclasses and in the process of organizing presentations with a dr. who has a dark field microscope to do live blood analysis in front of a live audience.... so everyone can see, scientifically how EFT works, oh, I am so excited. With Gary's 7 minute video, there's so much hype about and we are in the middle of it.
Enjoy your time on the water, I am sure you will view the ocean from here on in much differntly than you ever have before. Have a pint of Guinness for me.... Dawn

Hello!
Great pics from Egypt! Tim Z says 'are you getting tired of writing captions? Friendliest, Friendlier, ....' Sean would like to know why you couldn't view Tut's tomb. Please bring back Tuscany info for our clan - it is one of our hopeful destinations for next year. Sylvia had much the same experiences with shopkeepers in Egypt as you did - she was not impressed.
Life here is getting sunnier and warmer! Finally! Mark just got his wisdom teeth out today - so he is doing his best 'chipmunk' imitation. Sean is practicing for his badminton tourny at the end of the month and starts tryouts tomorrow for Track and Field. Tim and I just play chauffeur and hope that we don't miss a pick up anywhere, or that we both don't end up picking up the same kid!
Calgary is playing SanJose in Rnd1 - Oilers didn't make the playoffs nor did Vancouver.

Hey There Long Lost Travellers !
It sure doesn't look like your feeling any such thing like homesick ! ( where ever home might be ) . The beer looks like its going down pretty good. Its still pretty crazy over here. One minute its a beautiful summer day, and the next we're in another snow blizzard. Put on my gardening gloves for the first time this year. Thanks again, I sure get a lot of use of them!!
Sure looks like you guys are having a blast !! Definitely a new adventure everyday. All your pics & stories are fabulous. Its just getting to the computer cause I know I'll be here for a hour. Still alot of hockey going on in our lives. Jesse's very busy with Avalanche now. I guess I won't have to worry about going downstairs much for it anymore until next year !!
Mamma Mia was absolutely fabulous. Definitely one of our favorites. Missed you guys !! I guess we'll have to go to a show in Edmonton, maybe get invited for dinner, with some Baked Alaska for dessert !! ?? Sounds Entertaining!
I'm not sure where abouts you guys are right now, but my brother & girlfriend are on a Norwegian Cruise Lines which left Barcelona, Spain on the 30th of March stopping at a few places in Italy. Today, being Sunday, their in Dubrovnik, Croatia then Piraeus, Greece by Tuesday, Wednesday Izmir , Turkey, Thursday & Friday Istanbul , Turkey then fly back to Van on Monday the 14th. Would it be too funny it you ran into each other !!
Can't remember when you get back but keep us informed. Continue smiling and having a Great Time !!
Hugs to Both !! LM

Wow! Hard to believe it is already April 4. Sounds like you guys have settled into "Life styles of the RIch and Famous" pretty well.
St. Patrick's Day was a bust! 2" of snow and about -10 without the windchill, so needless to say we watched from afar like kids with their noses pressed against the cold window!
I have missed a couple long runs and am planning a 7 miler on Sunday. Finally been able to run outside a bit as most of the snow is gone (except on the golf courses).
Big day yesterday! Mike's electrical inspection passed and our heating guy is starting this Saturday. Could be drywalling in a couple of weeks. Linda has pretty much insulated the entire house by herself..... Sore feet!
We recieved Tim's post card from Nam and yes the card games are going on, infact the last time my boss and his boss were here they commented on how they like the set of poker chips in the lunch room. I explained that they belonged to TAG......
The Dubai pics were pretty cool to see. I printed out the one of Tim standing by the Hotel. Good conversation piece around the office.
Take Car you guys.

Thanks for sending us the at sea blog - it does look like there are too many choices each day, but sorry - I don't feel bad for you! As I was walking out of the gym today and enjoying the sunshine, I was contemplating what a sabatical would feel like.... til next time! Fxo

Healing great. Staples out. Snow today. +12 forecast. Canucks back in 8th place. ....................'bout it!
Typical day aboard the Princess of Castlegar..... alarm somewhere between 7:15 and 9 depending on what's on TV, what cereal is in the cupboard, and whether or not Lynn is standing at the end of the bed with a rolling-pin and a can of mace! Then we don the bathrobes and sprint over the neighbours fence to sneak into their basement for showers (before they wake up). Breakfast in the lounge is always a treat... usually a choice of puffed wheat or rice crispies! Then it's a sunny stroll around the deck... usually kicking cats off or brushing snow into the neighbours yard. I'll save the lunch and supper details for later...!
Will be getting my golf membership in the next week or two. Heading to Idaho for a golf trip on the 14th with some boys from Nelson. Mamma Mia was great, by the way. We agree it's the best we've seen. Great meal at the Italian Kitchen.(guess what Lynn had???) A few martini's at the Red Lion to cap off the evening. More later..... luv D...

Hello! It's ironic, the day you set up your pics of Dubai, one of my workmates also did a noon hour slide show of his recent trip to Dubai and Abu Dabai. His sister-in-law moved there this summer and was teaching at the Cdn expat school until just last week when she transferred to her new job at the Cdn Embassy. They were there for a month and truly enjoyed the experience. I recognized some of your sights from his photos also.
we're having another blast of winter this weekend/week - spring is trying really hard to arrive in Calgary! I envy you your ability to wear shorts and t-shirts!
Tim hears tomorrow if he made the Chiefs board. we've been waiting anxiously. Otherwise life is normal here - oh and we celebrated our 18th anniversary today! No bling but a nice dinner out last night.
I don't remember where you stop next but don't stop the blog when you finish the cruise - the stories and especially your photos have kept me going through this winter and I might get severe withdrawal when you're trip ends!!

Hey Tim and Linda
Your pictures have been fantastic to look at! There is an appreciation and a respect for all life imprinted in each photo. I can't wait to visit a few of these places myself.
Things back here are moving along as usual. Everyone is overly optmistic about summer and every time the snow flys, sad little faces appear and ask each other when it's going to be over. I like the winter, so I find it a little humourous to listen to. Also, the longer the snow stays, the longer I can take removing the land mines in my back yard! Boarding has been great and I spent a couple of days in the sun, on top of Granite. I thought that I would put a picture of me enjoying the sun on top of Red, so you would believe me.
Anyways I can't wait to look at you next installment.
Thanks for being so dedicated to you blog.

Thank you for your thoughts and feelings from India, I believe someone would have to go there to really "get it" and then some still don't. What an experience.
Dubai, yes, all that and more. When you wrote about the creek, finally, finally, someone will know what we mean when we speak of the New Years Eve cruise that took us up the creek, it truly was once in a lifetime 'cause we aren't billionaires either :0. We had brunch at the "wave" beside the "Sail", and gasp at the price, but how do you repay the trip up the creek?? Our friends "showed us The Town" and I just returned when I saw your photos.
I approve of the bracelet, I can hardly wait to see it in person. Such a keepsake. Enjoy your days at sea, and soak up that sun while we are still freezing here, just a bit below 0, spring time for us :).

Dubai.......count me in next time you go?? Have you a date set up? You must have Ireland in your sites now......well I guess a little way off. Trevor, the man next door to us apparently can take red wine out of anything, you'll want that out before they get home Dave and Brian both healing from their operations. Brian on Wed. Dave on thursday. Our livingroom looks like a hospital ward. Didn't realize how many remote controls one has for various things. We have at least two of each. Now if they can figure out how NOT to have to get up to the biffy. Love and miss you both.

Wow, I am speachless... first time ever :), those photos are amazing. The Taj Mahal, never been this close and it's unbelievable, the craftsmanship, what a loss the world has suffered when we see chipboard buildings going up today, only to last 20 years... you can't come away without being changed I am sure.
hope you didn't eat off those street vendors, I'm sure the level of curry would kill any bacteria !!
quite the toilets in the pilgramage shot!
I noticed the purses these chic women were carrying, Prada per chance, or maybe a knock off?

Hey guys! Thanks for all of the amazing pictures. I have always wanted to go to Angkor Wat, as you well know, and now I have a better idea of the complex and how beautiful it is. Can hardly wait for your next newsletter.
I have a couple of questions and they are about the food. Did you get bored with the food or do they refurbish with food from the varied locations?
I am presuming they change the menu often. Like with different cultural dishes? On the 10 day cruises that I was on the menu was quite varied and they probably restocked when they returned to Fort Lauderdale or Miami but they will be restocking enroute I presume.
Do they still put tons of papers under the door each day while at sea?
My nanny days are numbered I think. Our son is telling us that break up has happened from Red Deer south and he is in Hinton now. He'll finish the job he's on and probably be done until break up is over. He has some exciting news in that he is being offered an incredible job due to his experience in Russia, it's a chance of a lifetime.
Things are getting busier at the shop and I am working hard not to go back, want to keep on with my EFT, will see what happens.
Will you see the Terra Cotta Worriors? that was always something that intrigued me. Such time consuming tasks to say nothing of the big wall.....
Oh, yes, how was the camel ride? an adverse reactions?
Take good care and see you in May.

Good day. Thanks again for the great story of your journey. I was wondering how you made out with the storm, glad all was well, that's all the bad weather you will have.
YOu both look tanned and well. Good to see. Please keep including pic's of yourselves as well as destinations.
Hope you received my pages of tapping points for various conditions, will help your cold too. Just out of curiosity, did you get your cold about the time of Jean's wild ride?
Things are going well here. I am off shortly to Red Deer to see my dear babies, they have started to really give us smiles and are cooing away. It is such an incredible feeling to have them respond, they are so precious.
Next time I may have some spectacular news to share with you, it's a little premature today but by next week we should be celebrating..... love to keep you in suspense :)

Hey Tim and Linda
Thought we would drop you a little line to let you know we are thinking about you. Loved the pix of Easter Island, they have been my favorite so far! Things are finally starting to warm up in FSJ, we are reaching a daytime high of minus 25 instead of the minus 33 of last week. Time to break out the beach wear! It sure looks like you guys are having the time of your lives on the cruise. Every couple of days we bring the kids down to follow your progress on the map. Everytime you reach a new destination, we wrap a string around the flag at that location following your progress. We are thinking of you guys often.
Love, Jenn, Kevin, Gillian, and Linley

Hey Guys, Jenn has a big paper cut and couldn't work the keyboard! The pix of Easter Island were my favorite so far. Linley sounds cute as a button when she tries to pronounce MOAI!! Finally starting to warm up here, only -25 during the day now instead of -33. Before we look at your pictures we alway make sure that we put on our beach wear and imagine we are there with you!
Lots of love, Jenn, Kevin, Gillian, and Linley

Nice to hear its warm where you are because Mike says it was -46 at the reload today and the giraffe would'nt run Reg said to trade it in for a Polar Bear before he started it. I discovered stapleing house wrap is dangerous, Justin got off lucky when you got him Tim, as my nail is cracked 3 places and my finger is very purple won't be a gel nail on that one for a few months. Am waiting in anticipation for info on your next warm....... destination.

I really want to see pictures of Easter Island. I read the most fascinating story about the history of this tragic place and the monoliths are supposed to be staggeringly impressive.

Jan 1st... Happy packing! and New Year. and remember Newton's third law of thermodynamics............. (or something important sounding like that...) for every action there is a positive and opposite re-action. I think of this often when I'm in the bathroom. I say this as a positive message as you pack and unpack your undies!!! To save space... go commando!! ( and send us the pictures!!!)... Love, D.
