Travel Story «The farewell party»

Sorry this has taken a while to go up but we are still in the grieving process of out departed una and mainly because I don't have internet in work so here it is!
Well we had to give Miss Collins a bit of a send off so decided to finally have a party in the apartment. They are kind of strict about noise after a certain hour as our talking late at night has prompted banging on the wall from our neighbor how rude! Anyway in preparation we put in certain orders with friends well actually just miss brid daly who in a moment of weakness offered to make jelly shots for the party ok not a moment of weakness more like a drunk one. But the lady did perform and came laden down with shots I knew a was friends with her for a reason! So we spent sat chilling and buying outfits, food and drink of the party. We of course told all Irish people party was at 7 as we knew no one would come till 8-9 then and boy were we right about that. Of course the plan was to tell any punctual Australians to come at 8 but some wires got crossed and no really arrived till 8.30 which at that stage we had all turned to drink as we thought party were to be a flop. But no Emily's fab work mates came actual Australians Jackie Anoup and Jackie’s boyfriend Tommy. Mr. Kirwan and Mr. Ryan also first to arrive thank you gentleman. After that it became a same gathering with the Athlone ladies Jim, Afric, Mark and Mike. Angela and Eilse (aisling friends from home, and sure I am practically related to them!!!! As I told most people that night sorry) and there respective other halves. Well the music and drink were following along with a lot of mingling. This was taken a little too much by our Australian friends who ended up crashing in bed aroung10.30 with excuse of not eating and drinking so home brew before coming to the party. But Jackie kept up the side well done lady. After the party we had plans to go to club>>>> in Darling harbor but people went in and found it not great to we made a detour to Kings cross where we went to one world club recommended by the athlonians and if was great. Fab DJ who played requests instantly. But there was also a partner in his musical crime a bongo player or that’s what I think It was he had drums which we all decided to play at some stage of the night which was fun and added to the music which we beautifully picked Golddigga a favorite (By the way liz little sis why did you show my that get down move anytime that song comes on I do it and thighs are in bits the next day and think of you and have to say not in a fond way!!!) Anyway dancing on table was compulsory so we did and had a fab night of dancing and giggles which was a great way to send Miss Collins off in style. I would like to say the next day we chilled out by the beach or did a sex and the city lunch but I would be lying! we cleaned the apartment which was actually really quick or else the girls had it done and I though I was cleaning sorry bout that ladies. And we chilled out on couch as we had a busy and sad week adhead befor Una abandoned us on the other side of the world seriously girl do you really hate us! Anyway will let girls fill you in on the rest of the week activities, Lorna
