Meting other cultures has always been part of my lifestyle. I also was attracted to the sea who holds the magic of unknown adventures behind the horizon. So I started sailing at a young age in The Netherlands but it was only after retiring from business that I could start thinking of something more adventurous. In 2006 I could acquire a seaworthy sail boat. Selene, a Rustler was perfectly kept by his previous owner and can be sailed single handed. To start I sailed to Ireland (Aran Islands) and Cornwall (Scilly Islands). In 2009 I left Antwerp for the south....
